Beeswax Seasoned Jarrah Serving Board with Kangaroo

Collected sustainably from Harvey, Western Australia, this piece has been cut by hand, sanded to a smooth finish by hand, and has had a minimalist depiction of a kangaroo burnt into the wood on one side. This is a one of a kind piece.

The wood is Western Australia’s prized Jarrah tree, however, this particular piece features prominent curling ripples throughout the length. The beautiful pattern makes this really stand out from the ordinary Jarrah grain that you may be accustomed to.

The beeswax seasoning seals the wood to become completely foodsafe. The board can safely be used for food preparation and serving, however, it is recommended to not to use sharp utensils such as knives on the side with pyrographic designs.
